Eligibility Criteria

Majority of the startups's operations are in Kenya or Burundi

The startup is a social enterprise or for-profit with a business model.

The Startup has sustainable revenue streams.

The startup is preventing or solving a specific pressing legal problem.

The startup has an existing product, service, or prototype

Selection Criteria

Having a team of at least 2 people (preferably co-founders), where the team shares a drive for justice impact.

A solution that meets the needs of those with unmet legal needs who struggle to access effective, easy to understand, affordable and accessible means to prevent or resolve their legal problems

An MVP (Minimal Viable Product)

The startup has potential and intention to scale.
